The ROAR Executive Committee has finalized the meeting minutes for the Fall Meeting. The meeting was held via Skype conferencing to save travel and lodging costs. All but one member of the Excom were present.
- Worlds entry fees will need to increase to participant to cover for required referee fees since ROAR will be hosting an IFMAR event for the next two years.
- National host venues have been announced and deviations as requested on the submitted bid were discussed.
- ROAR Leadership will institute a no tolerance of detrimental behavior at events.
- Rule 5.14.3 will be reworded for clarity as to intent and application.
- Rule 12.4.3 will be reworded to include super stock
- Membership fees will DECREASE by $5.00 for annual dues. This will be without a printed rule book. Should the member opt to receive a printed rule book the membership fee will remain the same at $30.00. Single event entry will remain at $15.00.
- Reminder to the host tracks that they have the ability to sign up ROAR members and retain $5.00 of the membership fee paid.
- Appointment of assistant to the Promotions Director, Mrs. Toni Hill
- Rule 9.4.5, 9.4.6, 9.4.8 will be removed from the rule book
- Touring Car and 1/12th car weights to be altered to 1420g (TC) and 730g (single cell 1/12th)
- Lipo battery dimension changes for 2S saddle (effective 2011) to 139mm(total length) x 47mm x 25.1mm and for Single Cell 93mm x 47mm x 18.5mm (previously submitted packs that failed due to dimension to contact ROAR Technical Director)
- Lipo battery maximum voltage rules will change to 4.2v single, 8.4v 2S, 16.8 4S as maximum allowed voltage.
- Truggy Body working group to be established by the President with clear and concise directions for the class's appearance for 2011.
- Battery quantity requirements will be removed from the approval policies.
- Batteries will now have a three times a year approval cycle. 1/1, 4/1 and 8/1. Publication will be 30 days later after approval if the distributor verified three retail outlets the product is sold. ROAR will grant an additional 30 days for verification of distribution before removing the battery from the list.
- Dirt Oval rules will be restructured.
- Skill Base class structures: Electric classes will have name changes to Sportsman Stock, Expert Super Stock and Open Modified. Sportsman Stock will have participation changes and limited entry guidelines.
