Online Registration for the 2010 ROAR Electric Off-Road National Championship event is set to begin May 21, 2010. Just a reminder that ROAR rules state membership status must be current through the dates of the event prior to entry being accepted. If the membership expires prior to the event date ending, renewal is required first. Online membership renewal is available through the ROAR website with Pay Pal as the electronic payment method or download the form and mail in to the Administrator.
Members planning to participate should take some time to review the class and participation specs before sign up. It will make the event inspection check-in process much smoother for all by ensuring your vehicle in race is compliant.
Participants may want to specifically review:
Reminder for those individuals and manufacturers who like to create your own cars, chassis, parts, custom items, as well as prototype electronics and parts. These items are prohibited in the Sportsman and Stock Classes (ROAR Rule 12.4.3), unless they are readily available thru Hobby Retailers at least 14 Days prior to the event. Use of such items is ONLY permitted in the Open and/or Demonstration Classes until 14 Day general availability is met. Such items may still be subject to technical review and compliance with dimensional/material specs.
