2020 ELECTRIC PAVED ONROAD NATIONALS CANCELLATION

After consultation with the host track and an evaluation of the situation with the resurgence of the coronavirus, ROAR has reluctantly made the decision to cancel the 2020 Electric Paved Onroad Nationals which had been scheduled for July 30 - August 2, 2020 at Jackson R/C Racing Association in Jackson, NJ.
The State of New Jersey has mandated a 14 day quarantine period for travelers from at least 16 states. This number may be increased prior to the originally scheduled dates of the event. It is unreasonable to expect racers from those states to arrive 14 days early for the event and it would not truly be a National level event with so many racers excluded due to these travel restrictions. There are no plans to reschedule the event for 2020. Refunds will be issued for those who have registered for the event. This process may take a couple of weeks but everyone who has paid to register for the event will receive a full refund.
ROAR sincerely regrets any inconvenience to racers who were planning to attend. Several weeks ago, it appeared that the trajectory of the disease and of New Jersey's re-opening would allow for us to hold the event. The situation has changed in the last week to 10 days and this is no longer possible.
We want to thank the Jackson R/C Racing Association for their cooperation during this difficult and confusing process.
