TIRE RULE CLARIFICATION for 10th Scale Nationals

In keeping with the precedent set at previous 10th scale dirt offroad Nationals and common practice at the host track; ROAR will adopt the following policy for the 2022 Electric Offroad 10th Scale Dirt Nationals at SDRC.
Racers in all classes will be permitted to sand or grind the tread of the tire. All sanding / grinding must be done outside the building or in any area designated by the host track.
For racers using handout tires, no other modifications will be permitted other than the addition of vent holes and at least a “ghost outline” of the original tire tread must be visible. On handout tires, tire identification information on the sidewall must not be modified, altered or removed. Racers in classes using handout tires may use their own inserts. Racers are limited to 4 sets of handout tires.
